Every Sunsday on 222.9 The Mother ship Internet Radio features gospel and smooth jazz music to venerate the essence of Obatala, the orisa of patience, purity, and humility. At 2:22pm daily I grab the song that organically plays in rotation and channel its message. This Sunsday, the song was Tameka Mann’s “This Place.”
Those of you that have made your way to the road less traveled, allow yourself to express the joy of living from the God/ess within! It serves as a great inspiration to others to follow suit. It is easy to put too much focus on the trials and challenges of divine living….that the joy of it gets undermined….let’s not let that be so!
The essence of “finding Jesus” is a symbolic sacrifice of life in the flesh for life in the spirit, hence the death and the resurrection. It also correlates to a road of Obatala who sacrifices His life for others Obatala Moro. The story of the birth, death and resurrection story of Christ is indeed a recycled one through many spiritual systems, but it’s spiritual message of wisdom stays the same. Live from the God/ess within, and you can and will experience a joy and peace that the world(3rd dimension) didn’t give you….and it wont be able to take it away. Even through turmoil you will still have a certain peace, understanding, and divine navigation system that isn’t accessible to those living in the flesh driven, ego serving ways. Aaaaahhhh the joy of the road less traveled!
