“damn! you mean to tell me that after all the nutrients i carried to the dirt to grow the food on your dinner plates, i cant just chill for a second in this…thing you call a kitchen? i see how it is…”
-the roach
I saw a few of these in the kitchen in a restaurant where a restaurant I worked….I quit after a couple of weeks. They are often un welcomed roommates in our homes. Thousands of dollars are spent yearly to exterminate them. We often squash them without regard, without understanding the significance of their presence. You most often find them in lowly, unclean places. Interestingly, their messages are so much more profound than their appearance, as many things in life are. Their existence dates back to the dinosaur age, and are predicted to survive the extinction of humanity. They teach us to adapt to any environment, and work communally to survive. They remind us that the most grounded are the strongest, and multiply the fastest. They encourage you utilize the resources already around to get to your next level. They remind us to show reciprocity to the planet, as they are carriers of nitrogen to soil. Nitrogen is essential to the growth of vegetation.Once this is understood and put into action, our environments evolve to place where their message isn’t as frequent.
