the drum sounds…loud.
my hips, mind, and spine obey
the drum is my heart

The I-Ching is a gentle but powerful Chinese oracle that reveals changes to come through elements through trigrams, all working in their masculine and feminine essence.
The Hexagram 20 vibrates on seeing and stillness. Stillness is not always stagnance, as much as it is a matter of taking in your surroundings from a divine place. As you draw ever closer to your divine precipice of greatness, you will learn to multitask the many of your divine duties. Do not separate them, as you will be frustrated to find that you cannot. That is a good thing. You will learn to fuse then together through seeing in stillness alone.
Kun is the root, the first trigram of Hexagram 20. She is the groundbreaking earth, spreading herself wide open to give birth to your new world. Atop her in the upper trigram is Xun, she of wind and or wood. She spreads, grows, and improvises the new being emerged from Kun.
Then, lines 3 and 4 change…
The change in line 3 reminds you that all changes, both positive and negative can be uncomfortable because they require you to come out of your comfort zone. Try not to think of yourself as being pulled in too many directions. You are actually learning to dance through the many hats you wear!
The change in line 4 is a glimpse into the realm you are being prepared for. Enter it modestly, as your time alone provides time to really solidify you identity as a spirit, then a person, so that when the light of your new world shines in your eyes, you will not be blinded.
Enter…Hexagram 33
The number 33 itself is one of mastery. In the order of the I-Ching oracle, it vibrates on the need to retreat. Retreat is both a term of action as well as a physical place. When this hexagram appears, your spirits are calling you to withdraw from environments that do not support your growth in spirit. You may also need to create a retreat, a place of sanctuary to strengthen your being. It is time to retreat there and stay for a while. Gen is the masculine force that ground your moment of stillness. In the comfort of the male mountain spirit, you will find the quiet you need to end old destructive cycles, and clear your inner space. This stillness rises to Qian, the male force of Heaven next to come from the revelations found in your stillness. You will hear the guidance of the Creator in your sacred space. The most powerful sacred spaces are within, more so than a specific building. Ase!
